Frequently Asked Questions:

• How long are private lessons? How often are they held?
  • Private lessons are 30 minutes long and meet weekly (minus calendar breaks).
• Is there a registration fee?
  • There is a one time registration fee of $50.
• How many lessons are in a studio calendar year?
  • There are 45 lessons in our studio year. We are open all year long. Our breaks generally follow the Central Valley school district holiday breaks. 
• How do I sign up for lessons?
  • After you fill out an inquiry form, call, or text, we will talk to you about a time and date that works best with your availability. After that, you will need to fill out a student registration form (we will email, or text you the link). Please note: you are not on the schedule until after you have filled out the registration form and we have confirmed your start day and time. 
• Do you offer make up lessons?
  • We do not offer make up lessons, except in the case of teacher cancellations.  
• How long do I need to commit to lessons for?
  • Lessons are month to month. You are always welcome to stop at anytime, however we are unable to refund you for the current lesson month. 
• When is the enrollment period?
  • We enroll all year long.
• Are there 4 lessons every month?
  • While many months do have 4 lessons in them, some months have more, such as March, and some months have less, such as December.
• Does your studio have recitals?
  • Yes! We have a June recital every year. We also generally have a Christmas recital.
• Do I need an instrument to start lessons?
  • You do not need an instrument to start lessons, however you will want to get one soon after starting, for at home practice.
